Bhoramdev Padyatra on the first Monday of Shravan, July 10
Kawardha. Historical, archaeological, religious, the symbol of public faith in the Bhoramdev temple, the tradition of performing water anointing to Lord Shiva by marching Kanwariyas and devotees has been going on for centuries. Like every year in Kabirdham district, preparations for the Bhoramdev Padyatra have been completed on the first Monday of the month of Shravan. Collector Mr. Janmejay Mahobe today inspected the preparations for the padayatra from ancient Budha Mahadev Temple to Bhoramdev Temple in Kawardha. The Collector has given instructions to the Chief Medical Officer, Sub-Divisional Officer Revenue, Police and Chief Executive Officers of the Janpad Panchayat to make health and other basic facilities arrangements.
On Monday, July 10, at Bhoramdev Temple, famous as Khajuraho in Chhattisgarh, the 18-kilometer padyatra from Budha Mahadev Temple to Bhoramdev Temple will begin at 7 am. This padayatra, which has been going on for centuries, is continuing continuously since 2008 from the Budhamahadev temple of Kawardha with the cooperation of the common people. Other arrangements have also been made by the district administration for public health facilities and rest for pilgrims and pilgrims. As per the intention of Cabinet Minister Mohammad Akbar, on the instructions of Collector Janmejay Mahobe, preparations for this padyatra and other facilities including health for the devotees participating in the padyatra have been completed by the district administration. Along with this, a road map has also been prepared for the pedestrians coming from outside the district. There will be a DJ sound box and a mobile ambulance of the health department for the entire padyatra. Arrangements have been made for the health check-up of the devotees. Tree plantation will be done by the Forest Department inside village Chhapri (cowshala) and Bhoramdev temple complex.
Arrangements for soft drinking water and snacks have been made by the administration at various places for the devotees on the padyatra route.

Special arrangements made for devotees to see Lord Shiva
For the convenience of the devotees, LED has been arranged for live darshan of God from the sanctum sanctorum. The entrance where the place of men and women has been kept. That door will be used to have darshan of Lord Bholenath.
Appeal made to the devotees for the successful organization of the Padyatra
An appeal has been made not to use polythene and plastic material around the Bhoramdev temple. Kanwarias and devotees have been asked not to put plastic, rice, flowers in any idol. Temporary toilets have been constructed for the coming Kanwaris and devotees. Marked with a banner poster. An appeal has been made to all the devotees to use cleanliness everywhere so that dirt and environmental pollution can be prevented. Bhoramdev Sanatan Teerth has appealed to all the devotees to cooperate with the administration with peace and harmony.
Inquiry center and helpline number issued
An inquiry center has been set up in the temple premises in case of untoward incidents and missing children. A helpline number has been issued for this.
