To further strengthen the literary environment of the state, Chief Minister Baghel announced to give “Chhattisgarh Sahitya Akademi Award” to litterateurs in three categories.
First – for literature written in Chhattisgarhi and other dialects like Gondi, Halbi, Surgujia, Kurukh etc.
Second – for poetry written in Hindi.
Third – This honor will be given for prose written in Hindi.
5 lakh cash and citation will be given to the respected litterateurs in each category.
