Big revelation regarding Manipur violence, arms and ammunition coming from these countries

New Delhi: National Investigation Agency NIA has made a big revelation in the Manipur violence case. According to NIA, militants from Myanmar and Bangladesh are supplying arms and ammunition to the Manipur violence. NIA’s investigation report has revealed that Myanmar and Bangladesh The extremist groups based in Manipur have hatched this conspiracy with the intention of creating a rift between different ethnic groups in Manipur and waging a war against the Government of India. These extremist organizations have conspired with a section of extremist leaders in India to indulge in incidents of violence. For this, handlers of terrorist organizations of Myanmar and Bangladesh are funding the purchase of arms, ammunition and other types of terrorist equipment in Manipur. They are also getting help from across the border as well as from other terrorist organizations operating in the north-eastern states of India.
On Saturday, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested a man from Manipur for his alleged involvement in a conspiracy against the Indian government to take advantage of the ongoing ethnic unrest in the state. According to NIA, behind this conspiracy are allegedly terrorist organizations based in Myanmar and Bangladesh, who want to take advantage of the ethnic unrest in Manipur to wage war against the Indian government. Caste violence first broke out in Manipur on 3 May. More than 180 people have died in the state so far. Several hundred have been injured. The violence started when a ‘Tribal Solidarity March’ was organized in the hill districts to protest against the demand for granting Scheduled Tribe status to the majority Meitei community. Meiteis constitute about 53 percent of the population of Manipur. They mostly live in Imphal Valley. Whereas Naga and Kuki tribals constitute 40 percent and mostly live in hill districts.
