Blinken has said that the strategic partnership between the two countries has never been better. He said that India and America are united on everything, be it advanced semiconductors or defense cooperation. Addressing an event organized at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said, ‘We are improving and strengthening our alliances and partnerships, and building new ones… US-India strategic alliance Partnerships have never been more dynamic than they are now. In his address, Blinken also referred to the ambitious India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor that was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden during the recent G20 summit held in Delhi. “And now Last week at the G20, President Biden and Indian Prime Minister Modi announced another ambitious transportation, energy and technology corridor that will connect ports in Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, Italy, The EU will work closely with the US and India to strengthen clean energy production, digital connectivity and critical supply chains across the region. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the ambitious project India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) cooperation on the sidelines of the G20 summit along with US President Joe Biden, Saudi Arabian Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman and leaders of the European Union. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that IMEC will become a symbol of cooperation, innovation and shared progress. He said that this corridor is a proof of human effort and unity across continents. PM Modi said that today when we are taking such a big initiative of connectivity Then we are sowing the seeds of expanding the dreams of future generations. IMEC includes an Eastern Corridor connecting India to the Gulf region and a Northern Corridor connecting the Gulf region to Europe. It includes railways and ship-rail transit. Network and road transport routes will be included. This corridor will have two parts. First – Eastern Corridor, which will connect India with the Gulf countries. Second – Northern Corridor, which will connect the Gulf countries with Europe. In this corridor, along with the railway line, There will also be electricity cables, hydrogen pipelines and a high-speed data cable.
