Patna (IANS). The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will conduct a signature campaign against the lathicharge on leaders and workers in Patna and on the issue of teachers. This was announced by BJP state president Samrat Chowdhary in a press conference here on Friday.
In a press conference held at the state office, State President Samrat Chaudhary said that Bihar was ashamed of the manner in which MPs, MLAs, workers and even women were lathi-charged in Patna on July 13, shaming humanity. The bones of the chest of women and sisters were broken, the brain was haemorrhaged. He said that against this lathicharge and on the issue of teachers, Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha will conduct a signature campaign by putting up exhibitions at the district and block headquarters. This campaign will run from 24 July to 9 August.
He told that on August 9 last year itself, Nitish Kumar had left the NDA and went out. He said that the signatures received from all the areas of the state would be submitted to the Governor after making a memorandum.
Chowdhary surrounded the government on the issue of teachers and said that till the monsoon session of the Vidhansabha continued, it was said that talks would be held with the teachers unions. Session is over. He said that the number of employed teachers in Bihar is around 4.70 lakh, the government will have to accommodate these teachers.
He said that these teachers got jobs in the NDA government. Nitish government did not dare to remove them. The government will have to answer for giving jobs to 10 lakh people. The government is doing the work of cheating.
The BJP state president told that the death of party leader Vijay Singh was a heart attack, saying that we are already saying that the government is covering up the whole matter. From the very beginning, the BJP has been demanding that the entire matter be investigated by the sitting judge of the Patna High Court. He demanded that the video of the post-mortem be handed over to AIIMS for investigation and the video be made available to the media and the BJP.
Describing Nitish Kumar as the most unsuccessful leader in response to a question, Chaudhary said that he never won. He has been becoming CM only by the grace of BJP.
