Bike collides with tree, student dies
Kondagaon. A bike collided with a tree in the early hours of 16th December near Karsingh village on Mardapal-Kondagaon road under Kondagaon district. Two students of Eklavya Vidyalaya Golawand have been seriously injured in this incident. Both of them were immediately brought to the district hospital of Kondagaon. One student died during treatment here, while another serious student has been referred to a higher centre. According to the information, class 12th students studying in Eklavya Adarsh Residential School, Golavand, had gone to celebrate Diyari festival in Nevta village with the father of Ramendra Markam and Tuleshwar Netam.
On the morning of 16th December, Tuleshwar and Ramendra had set out on their own bike towards Eklavya Vidyalaya Golavand when their bike went out of control and collided with a tree near Karsingh village. Immediately after this incident, constable Bhushan Kuldeep posted at City Kotwali and Eklavya’s teacher Jyoti Yadav and Tarun Chauhan took both the injured to Kondagaon district hospital in 108 ambulance. Ramendra Markam died during treatment here, considering the critical condition of Tuleshwar, the doctors of the district hospital have referred him to a higher centre. As soon as information about the incident was received, officials of Tribal Welfare Department, Tehsildar Kondagaon and staff of Eklavya Vidyalaya reached the spot and were seen helping in the treatment of the injured children.
