Bike hit by unknown vehicle, youth dies due to head injury

Durg. A speeding vehicle hit a bike rider in Jewra Sirsa Chowki area of the district. The bike rider was thrown away due to the collision. He died due to deep head injury. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and sent the body to the PM.

According to information received from Jewra Sirsa outpost police, the accident took place between Karanja Bhilai and Medesara under outpost area. Deepak Patel, a young man from Parsoda, was going to his home on Tuesday night on his bike CG 07 BY 6337. As soon as he reached Karanja between Bhilai and Medesara, an unknown vehicle coming from the front hit him. After the accident, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. People called the police by dialing 112.

When the police reached the spot, the deceased was identified through the Aadhar card found in his pocket. Police sent the body of the youth to Durg District Hospital for post-mortem. After this his family members have been informed. The post-mortem of the youth will be done on Wednesday and the body will be handed over to the family members.
