Bike rider and bull killed in collision with speeding Thar

Karnal: A bike rider and a bull died on the spot after being hit by a speeding Thar in the Green Belt area of Karnal district. A minor boy was driving the Thar. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody and kept it in the mortuary of Kalpana Chawla Medical College, Karnal for post-mortem. Police have taken both the vehicles into their custody and started investigation.

It is being told that the high speed Thar vehicle came while crossing the divider and first collided with the bull, then hit the bike and crashed into an electric pole. The air bags also opened as soon as the car collided. The accident was so severe that both the bike rider and the bull died on the spot.

The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Sandeep, resident of Saharanpur, UP. Deceased’s neighbor Rahul told that Sandeep used to serve in a company in Sector-9 of Karnal and lived in Sector-6. He was returning to his home from Green Belt towards Udham Singh Chowk towards Sector 6 around 9 pm on Wednesday. The accident happened between Nurmahal Chowk and Udham Singh Chowk.
