Bike riding couple hit by unknown car, condition critical

Lakhanpur. This afternoon, a couple riding a motorcycle were seriously injured after being hit by a car coming from Raipur at village Navapara Chowk NH 130 under Lakhanpur area. It is being told that the car driver had dozed off and lost control of his vehicle and hit the motorcyclist, due to which both were seriously injured. Both have been admitted to the hospital. According to the police, the car was coming from Raipur around 12.30 pm on Tuesday afternoon. Kashiram Rajwade was going towards Jajga by bike with his wife Lakshmi Rajwade of village Turna.

Then suddenly in Nawapara Chowk, a car hit the bike rider on his side, due to which the bike rider’s leg got fractured, he got serious injury on his head and forehead and the wife got injured in her waist and hand. It is being told by the villagers that this might have happened due to the car driver taking a nap. The injured were immediately brought to Lakhanpur Community Health Center, where they are undergoing treatment. This information was given by Vikram Singh in Lakhanpur police station. Police is investigating by going to the spot. In view of the frequent accidents, the villagers have said that a speed breaker should be made as soon as possible so that the accidents which are happening continuously can be stopped.
