BJP gave responsibility to the leaders who were under ED’s radar.

Raipur. BJP has appointed election operators for 16 assembly seats. There are many names among the election organizers who themselves were contenders for the ticket. In the list of election operators released by BJP, the most discussed is the name of the election operator of Rampur seat.

Senior BJP leader Nankiram Kanwar is contesting from Rampur seat of Korba district this time too. Kanwar had won from this seat in 2018 also. The party has made Gopal Modi of Korba the election director of Kanwar. Modi is the treasurer of BJP’s Korba district. Currently, he is in the news for about a week because of the ED raid.

According to sources, Modi’s family is also associated with the rice mill business. Modi has been an officer in the Rice Mill Association. ED had raided his place in Korba on 20-21 October. ED has not yet made public the information about what ED got from Modi’s place, but ED had issued a press release regarding this raid. In this, corruption of Rs 175 crore has been alleged in custom milling of paddy.
