BJP handed over the command of MP to Agriculture Minister Narendra Tomar
Bhopal. The central leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party has today declared Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar as the convenor of the Madhya Pradesh Election Management Committee. According to a letter issued by party general secretary Arun Singh, party president J.P. Nadda has appointed Union Agriculture Minister Mr. Tomar as convenor of the State Election Management Committee in connection with the upcoming Madhya Pradesh elections. It has been said in the letter that this appointment will come into force with immediate effect. On the other hand, on the appointment of Narendra Tomar to this post, the state president of the party Vishnudutt Sharma congratulated Tomar for this and wished him well.
Narendra Tomar has also been the state president of Madhya Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party before this. He is currently a Lok Sabha MP from Morena parliamentary seat of the state. Elections are proposed in Madhya Pradesh in the coming November. The party’s central leadership had earlier declared Union minister Bhupendra Yadav as election in-charge for the state and Ashwini Vaishnav as co-in-charge. There was speculation about change of leadership in the state before the elections for a long time. After the appointment of Mr. Tomar to this post, there are possibilities of putting an end to these speculations.
