BJP leader got angry at insulting MP, beat up auto drivers
Bengaluru : An FIR has been registered against a former BJP councilor for assaulting auto drivers in Bengaluru. Actually, these drivers had put posters criticizing BJP MP Tejashwi Surya on their vehicles. These auto drivers from Bengaluru are protesting against Surya’s support for carpooling. The BJP MP’s support for carpooling was termed as insulting in the posters. According to media reports, a video of this incident has surfaced in which posters stuck behind the auto-rickshaw are visible.
It is being told that supporters of former BJP councilor Sangathi Venkatesh were demanding removal of the poster. There was a clash with the auto drivers regarding this issue.According to the report, Venkatesh warned all the auto drivers in the area not to drive their vehicles. He also threatened to face serious consequences if the poster was not removed. Reportedly, he also talked about killing him and there was a heated argument between both sides for a long time. An FIR has been registered against Venkatesh and his supporters in Hanumanth Nagar police station regarding this.
