BJP minister created controversy with his remarks in the rally

Ujjain (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Mohan Yadav lost his cool and asked the Congress party, ‘Tumhari kya aukaat hai?’ (What is your status or worth?) on Tuesday. During a public rally in Ujjain district in the evening.
A video of the incident has also gone viral on social media.
Yadav made this comment while addressing a public rally organized in Tower Chowk area of the district on Tuesday evening in view of the upcoming state assembly elections.

“You (Congress leaders and their supporters) will not be traceable. The people of Ujjain have defeated you four times, yet you do not understand your real condition – who have no path in life except doing wrong and know nothing but hooliganism,” he said. The public will teach you a lesson.”

He warned the Congress party and said that the public will send them back to where they came from. “The public will send you back to where you came from. You create obstacles in the development work happening in Ujjain. Did your father feed you milk? What is your status (or worth)?” BJP leader commented.

On Wednesday, Yadav clarified his statement and said that it is not in his nature to humiliate anyone personally. He expressed hope that in the election environment the talk should be limited to election related discussions only.

He said, “There is an election atmosphere in the state and Congress is continuously adopting soft tactics like making personal comments about the development works of our Baba Mahakal and demoralizing our workers. Naturally I have said this in this context. They should also do so” Talk on development issues here and talk within your limits keeping religious sentiments in mind. It has not been my nature to belittle someone personally or call someone a lightweight. I hope that in an election environment this matter should be limited to election related matters only. Only,” he added.
Voting is scheduled in the state on November 17 and counting of votes will take place on December 3. Voters will elect MLAs from 230 assembly constituencies. (ANI)
