BJP MP upset over being denied ticket, showed strength, said big thing
Churu: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced candidates for 195 seats and is preparing to release the second list soon. Among the MPs whose tickets have been cut in the first list, one has raised the alarm of rebellion. Rahul Kaswan, MP from Churu, Rajasthan, not only demonstrated strength by gathering thousands of supporters at his residence on Friday but also made an open declaration of rebellion.
Rahul Kaswan presented his views in front of his supporters in an emotional manner and expressed his displeasure openly. Rahul asked his supporters what they should do. When his supporters left the decision to him, Kaswan hinted at contesting the elections and said, ‘The public has taken the decision and I have heard it. I respect your feelings. I just want your support. However, Rahul has not yet made it clear whether he will accept the offer coming from Congress or will contest the elections as an independent.
Rahul fiercely targeted some BJP leaders without naming anyone. Rahul Kaswan said that every child of Churu will decide their future, this cannot be decided by any one person. Rahul said, ‘This election will decide whether one person will decide our tomorrow. Will that person decide who lives and who dies? Will that person decide the future of our children? We will decide our future. Every child will decide this Churu. This is not a fight of elections but of ideology, it is a fight of one man’s ego against truth and honesty. I have never bowed down nor will I ever bow down.
Rahul said that he did not expect the ticket to be canceled. He said that he did not get any answer as to why his ticket was cancelled. Rahul said, ‘I was very upset after the decision on the ticket. I was confident that the results of the work I have done by living among the people will be good. When I came to know, I thought a lot as to why it happened. Couldn’t sleep the whole night. The mind remained distracted. Asked my loved ones to tell me something, what was missing? I raised many questions on social media but I did not get any answer. I had written a line that the reply is awaited, otherwise I will come among you people (public).
BJP has so far announced candidates for 15 seats in Rajasthan. This time, in place of 47-year-old Rahul Kaswan, BJP has given ticket from Churu seat to Devendra Jhajharia, who has been a javelin thrower in the Paralympics.
