BJP spokesperson pointed towards irregularities in Delhi Jal Board STP upgradation

New Delhi (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia on Monday accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of being ‘Crime Master Gogo’, a fictional character who cheats people and accused the AAP government of being involved in the Delhi Jal Board. Accusing the AAP government of corruption in the Delhi Jal Board scam, Bhatia said, “A scam related to Delhi Jal Board has come to light. 10 STPs (sewage treatment plants) are divided into two categories. Earlier, the Bharatiya Janata Party had alleged that the AAP government had committed a ‘scam’ of Rs 3,753 crore in the Delhi Jal Board.
“The evidence is a matter of investigation and some documents will come up in the investigation one way or the other. “We came to know through sources that they have consistently committed a fraud of Rs 3,753 crore under various heads…At many places, the accounting details are not there.” Speaking to ANI, Union Minister Meenakshi Lekhi said, “During this time the government was of Aam Aadmi Party, Arvind Kejriwal was the CM and other ministers were also there.”
Meanwhile, Delhi AAP minister Atishi Marlena wrote to Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena demanding suspension and disciplinary action against Finance Secretary Ashish C Verma for allegedly withholding funds from the Delhi Jal Board, as non-release of funds would lead to immediate A public health crisis may arise. ,
