Blackmailer lover arrested, was demanding Rs 10 lakh
Janjgir Champa. In Janjgir Champa, a case of friendship, sex and blackmail with a girl has come to light on Facebook. By making a video and photo of the rape, the accused demanded Rs 10 lakh from the victim. After which the victim complained to the police. Police have arrested the accused.
The whole incident is of City Kotwali of Janjgir Champa. A young man from Kushinagar in UP befriended the girl here in the year 2021 through Facebook. Then the closeness between the two increased. After chatting on Facebook, the love affair started between the two. The accused Janjgir also started coming to meet the girl. Both came close to each other. The victim alleges that during this time the accused youth had sexual relations with her.
When the Janjgir police investigated on the complaint of the victim, it was found that the accused youth had come to Janjgir in the year 2022. He took her to the hotel. Then he raped her on the pretext of marriage. During this, the accused prepared nude photos and videos of the victim. On the basis of this video, he started pressurizing the girl to have physical relations again and again. On not agreeing, he used to threaten to make the video viral, due to which the girl stopped talking after getting fed up. The accused sent nude videos and photos to the family members of the victim. In lieu of deleting this photo and video, he demanded ten lakh rupees. After this, the family members of the victim lodged a case at City Kotwali police station on 20 July. Police formed a team on the complaint and on the basis of mobile location arrested the youth from Kushinagar in UP. The age of the accused is 25 years. Police has recovered the mobile from the accused.
