Bolero caught fire, 14 devotees were on board
Balod: Panic spread after a massive fire broke out in a vehicle moving on the road. When the vehicle caught fire, there were 14 people in it. Everyone had gone to Dongargarh on the occasion of Navratri. While returning from there, the vehicle suddenly caught fire near Taraud village. On the occasion of Navratri, people from nearby states including Chhattisgarh reach Dongargarh. Today is the third day of Navratri. During these nine days, lakhs of devotees go to Dongargarh to have darshan of Maa Bamleshwari. 14 devotees from village Lakhanpuri of Charama police station area of Kanker district also decided to visit Bamleshwari Maa and reached Dongargarh on Monday. While returning from there, suddenly smoke started rising in his car. Seeing the smoke rising, everyone got down from the car without any delay. Due to which the lives of all 14 people were saved. Four children were also included in these.
After the car caught fire in the middle of the road, a crowd of people gathered there. The people traveling in the car told that after the car caught fire, they somehow managed to save their lives but all their belongings and mobile were burnt to ashes. Meanwhile, people informed Balod police and fire brigade. Balod police reached the spot and evacuated the crowd. The fire in the car was extinguished.
