Bored of eating pakodas, then make crispy potato pancakes in Korean style
As soon as it rains, the program of making pakoras is fixed in our homes for the evening. Brother, there is no better excuse than this to make pakoras. Along with potatoes, dumplings of onion, cabbage, spinach, brinjal, chillies etc. are made. Now the same type of dumplings cannot be made every time.

A vegetable like potato is liked not only in India but also in other countries, so you will find all its snacks in many places.
It is a snack and is very popular in Korea during monsoon. It is believed that when you cook the pancake in the pan, its sizzling sound is exactly like raindrops, reminding people away from their city of Korean rain.
It is very easy to prepare this recipe which can be made in minutes. Today in the recipe of the day, let’s move away from pakoras and learn how to make potato pancakes. Whenever it rains and there is a demand for tea and pakoras at home, you can make them.
Method of making-
First of all prepare the dipping sauce for it. For that, mix soy sauce, lemon juice, finely chopped green onions, finely chopped shallots, jalopino pepper and sugar in a bowl and mix well. When the sugar dissolves, keep the prepared dipping sauce aside.
Now grate 2 medium size potatoes with the help of a grater. Take it out in a bowl and then grate 1 onion with a grater and add it to the potatoes. Add potato starch and salt to this mixture and mix.
Now heat a pan and add oil to it. Pour the prepared potato batter in the shape of small pancakes and cook till it turns golden brown in color from both the sides.
If you want to add coriander, chili or other spices to this Korean pancake, you can add that too. Prepare pancakes for the whole family this way.
Blend the dipping sauce you prepared or serve it as it is with these pancakes. If you have hot ginger tea with it, it will be more enjoyable.

Material
For the dipping sauce: 1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup sliced green onions
2 tbsp soya sauce
1/4 sliced onion
1 jalapeno pepper (finely chopped)
1/2 tsp sugar
To make pancakes: 2 medium sized potatoes
1/4 cup onion
salt to taste
1/4 tsp potato starch
finely chopped coriander (optional)
Method
First, blend the ingredients for making the dipping sauce together and prepare the sauce.
Now grate the potatoes and onions. Add starch and salt to it and mix well.
Heat oil in a pan and pour the batter in the shape of a pancake and cook till it becomes crispy from both the sides.
Serve ready potato pancake with dipping sauce.
