Sister-in-law also started liking brother-in-law. Relations also developed between the two during this period. Sister-in-law became pregnant out of love for her brother-in-law. When the sister-in-law informed her brother-in-law about this, he flatly refused to keep her with him. After this, sister-in-law along with her family reached Didoli police station. Seeing the dispute escalating amidst the uproar, the young man’s wife agreed to keep the younger sister in her own house by making her his step-mother and took her along. The police did not take any action after an agreement was reached between the two parties.
The matter is related to a village in Didoli Kotwali area. A young man living here had a love marriage with a girl resident of another village in the area four years ago. Due to defamation, the girl’s family members left the village and started living in a rented house in Noida. It is being told that last year the girl’s family resolved their resentment by adopting their son-in-law. After this, in search of livelihood, four months ago the young man also went to Noida with his wife and started living in his in-laws’ house.
During this time the young man fell in love with his sister-in-law. The love affair between the two blossomed. Sister-in-law became pregnant due to physical relationship on the pretext of marriage. When the young man came to know about this, he refused to marry and silently returned to the village with his wife. Therefore, the sister-in-law, who reached Didoli police station with her family on Friday evening, lodged a complaint with the police accusing her brother-in-law of raping her on the pretext of getting married. The police swung into action and called the young man and his wife to the police station and talked to them. During the altercation between the two sisters, the situation escalated into a fight.
The girl, who left home saying she was going to college, ran away with her lover. Unable to find her, the family members have lodged a report against the boyfriend and his two brothers, residents of the same locality, for luring her away. The 21-year-old daughter of a resident of a locality in the city is a BA student in a local degree college. It is being told that for the last two years, she was having an affair with a young man resident of the same locality.
