BRS leader KT Rama Rao on Congress’s failure
Hyderabad (ANI): Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president and minister KT Rama Rao on Wednesday criticized the Congress party and its leaders for lack of commitment towards Telangana, saying it is the oldest party that has stood the test and dust. Has eaten. KT Rama Rao criticized the Congress by pointing out its decline over the years and criticized the party for its declining performance in Telangana. Speaking to the media, KT Rama Rao said, “The people of Telangana and the country have given ample opportunities to the Congress, but the party has failed miserably. Not only ourselves, but also India. Congress is a party that is tried and dusted,” he said. “Nobody sees Mallikarjun Kharge as a president. “Who is Rahul Gandhi to ask about family and dynasty in Telangana?” He asked. Talking about Congress’s failure in Karnataka state, KTR said, “Congress was given a chance in Karnataka and let’s see what they are doing now.” He also highlighted the stark difference between the dismal conditions of the Telangana government under the BRS regime and Karnataka under the Congress government and advised the grand party to “first run the Karnataka government properly and then focus on Telangana”. KT Rama Rao’s statement came after ‘taunting Rahul Gandhi’s dynastic rule in Telangana’. Earlier, attacking Rahul Gandhi for alleging that there is dynastic rule in Telangana, KTR said that the Congress MP himself comes from a family with a dynastic background. “Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi came to Telangana. They went to Ramappa temple. It’s a good thing. After returning from there, he talked arbitrarily and abused them. Rahul Gandhi comes and says that KCR government is dynastic. Who is Rahul? Gandhi?” He is the son of Sonia Gandhi. Who is Rajiv Gandhi’s daughter? Who is Indira Gandhi’s son? Who is Jawaharlal Nehru’s daughter? He comes here and says that the KCR government is dynastic…what kind of justice is this?” KTR said. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi in his recent Telangana tour said that there is a secret alliance between BRS and BJP and the Bharatiya Janata Party wants BRS to win the state elections. There will be a triangular contest in the state between the BJP, the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi and the Congress. In the last assembly elections held in 2018, BRS had won 88 out of 119 seats with 47.4 per cent vote share. Congress stood second with 19 seats. The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced on 9 October that the Telangana Assembly elections would be held on 30 November. Counting of votes will take place on December 3. (ANI)
