BSP worker dies, car accident happened while he was driving after drinking alcohol

Bhilai: On Monday night, a car went out of control and fell under a culvert built over a drain on the Dhanora to Chandkhuri road. The car was being driven by a BSP worker. He suffered serious injuries in the accident and died on the spot. Padmanabhpur Police has started investigating the case by filing an FIR.

Police said that the deceased has been identified as Prashant Singh, a resident of Borsi. He was a BSP worker. It was his friend’s birthday on Monday and he had gone to a farm house in Hanoda Chandkhuri to attend it. He drank a lot of alcohol at the party there. He had night shift duty on Monday night. He left the party directly for duty between 10 and 11 at night.

It was raining at night and BSP worker Prashant Singh was also drunk. Therefore, he could not control the vehicle and his car fell under the culvert. He died on the spot in the accident. On receiving the information, Padmanabhpur police reached the spot and took out the body of the BSP worker and the car. Police is investigating the matter.
