BTS’ Jin Gets Discharged From Military, Members Reunite To Welcome Him
The oldest member of Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS), Kim Seokjin alias Jin has been discharged from mandatory military service today. To welcome him, all other members of the boy band including Kim Namjoon (RM), Jung Hoseok (J-Hope), Min Yoongi (Suga), Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung (V), and Jeon Jungkook reunited at the military base.
In a video going viral over the internet, the members are seen hugging each other, while RM is seen playing saxophone to the tune of their hit song Dynamite.
In the video, Suga was not seen but later BTS took to its official X (formerly Twitter) handle and shared a post of all members sitting together with a caption that read, “Jin is Back.”
Reacting to the post, one person wrote, “Home is not a place, it’s a feeling. This is it.” Meanwhile, another BTS ARMY commented, “Welcome back my beautiful Jin BTS family.”
It is worth mentioning here that Jin joined the military in December 2022. He entered the boot camp at Yeoncheon, a town near the tense border with North Korea. After Jin, J Hope will get discharged from the military.
Meanwhile, other members will return from the military in 2025. Kim Namjoon alias RM and V enlisted for the military on the same day, December 11, 2023, at the Nonsan military camp in Korea. The other two members, Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook enlisted on December 12.
