Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee’s health improving, may be discharged on Wednesday
Kolkata (IANS). The health of former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee is now improving. He may be discharged from the hospital on Wednesday, Bhattacharjee is admitted to a private hospital in South Kolkata.
A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the members of the medical board constituted for his treatment on Monday. The members of the Medical Board will meet again on Tuesday and after that take a definite decision in the matter.
However, hospital sources said that even after being discharged from the hospital this week, the former chief minister will have to take several precautions. Special care has to be taken while meeting people. This is necessary for his illness.
The afternoon medical bulletin issued by the hospital authorities claimed that the former chief minister was being monitored through physiotherapy and other tests. He is on tube feeding.
The former chief minister was admitted to a private hospital in South Kolkata on July 29 after he complained of breathing problems.
