Bulldozer will not run on the house of Prem Yadav, who was killed in Deoria murder case, court bans it.
Prayag. The Allahabad High Court has put a stay on the Tehsildar’s order to run a bulldozer on the house of former District Panchayat member Prem Yadav, who was killed in a conflict between two parties in a land dispute in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh.
This order was given by Justice C.K. Rai gave this while hearing the petition of Rambhavan Yadav of the family of deceased Prem Yadav.
The court said that Prem Yadav’s family will appeal against the demolition action in the court of District Magistrate Deoria within a week. It has been ordered to be disposed of within three months. Before making the order, the petitioner’s side was not heard nor was any kind of demarcation or survey done.
The government lawyer said that the petition is not maintainable, because under the Revenue Act, the petitioner has the option of filing an appeal in this case. On this, the petitioner requested the court to intervene, citing the guidelines of the High Court in the Rishipal Singh case.
The court, while staying the Tehsildar’s order dated October 11, 2023, has asked the revenue officials to dispose of the petitioner’s appeal in the light of the guidelines of the High Court in the Rishipal Singh case. The court has stayed the implementation of the Tehsildar’s order until the appeal is resolved. Let it be known that after the murder of six people in Deoria, there has been a political earthquake in the entire state. One person from one side and five from the other side have been murdered.
Preparations were being made by the district administration to run a bulldozer on Prem Yadav’s house. For this, a notice was also pasted on the house and the Revenue Department team had completed the measurement work.
