Bullets fired on minor: Indiscriminate firing on minor, condition critical
Nalanda: On Saturday (May 08) afternoon, miscreants opened indiscriminate fire on a teenager in Mahanandpur village of Deepnagar police station area of Nalanda, due to which the teenager got badly injured after being shot in the stomach. Hearing the sound of the bullet, the villagers of the village ran but by then the miscreants had fled. With the help of local people, he was admitted to Sadar Hospital in Bihar Sharif, but he was referred to Patna for better treatment.
After receiving the information, the local police station reached the Sadar Hospital from the spot for investigation with the force. The injured has been identified as Gole Lal Kumar, son of Ajay Yadav, the age of the injured is said to be 16 years. The family members of the injured told that Gore Lal had gone to the Khandha of the village with a buffalo, he used to go with the buffalo daily, the family members also told that there was a dispute going on with a person from the village. The name of the shooter has been found out, the injured is not in a position to tell anything right now.
Deepnagar police station in-charge Narad Muni said that after receiving information about the shooting, the police reached the spot to investigate. During interrogation, it has come to light that there is a chimney furnace at the place where this incident was carried out. During interrogation with the workers there, it was found that the shooter was Munna Mahato. However, investigation is being done about who Munna Mahato is and detailed information is being taken from the family members. The injured has been referred from Sadar Hospital.
SP Ashok Mishra said that on receiving information about a boy being shot in Mahanandpur village, the police immediately reached there. The name of the injured is Gorelal, who is a resident of Mahanandpur, he has been reported to have been shot in the stomach, during preliminary interrogation, the father of the injured told the police that the injured was grazing buffaloes at Mahanandpur Khandha, in the same sequence he was shot. He has given the name and address of the shooter, raids have been started to catch him, during interrogation it has also been found out that there has been a dispute between the two for the last 5-7 years. A case has also been registered. Investigation is being done on all points.
