Bus overturned, 2 women passengers in critical condition
Raigarh: The dilapidated condition of ghats and roads during rainy days is becoming a lesson for these accidents, in which a bus accident occurred for the second time within a fortnight in Dharmanagar area of Raigarh district. In which a dozen passengers have been injured.
Jai Mata Di bus number CG 14 G 0371 from Raigarh had left for Jashpur from Raigarh on its scheduled time. During this time, it was moving towards its destination while picking up and dropping passengers. Then at around 10:30 in the morning, due to the high speed of the bus, the driver could not control it. And the bus became uncontrollable and overturned. By the time the passengers in the bus could react, there was a panic among them and they started screaming, crying and groaning.
After this accident, the injured passengers in the bus and the passersby immediately informed Dial 112 and became aware of the entire incident. As soon as the information of the bus overturning accident was received, Dharamjaygarh TI reached the spot with the force. As soon as the policemen reached the spot, they immediately started rescue work. Meanwhile, women Basanti Baghel resident of village Dokada and Jasita Lakra resident of village Banari were badly injured in the accident. They have been admitted to Dharamjaygarh hospital for treatment.
