Businessman assaulted in Raipur, accused arrested
Raipur: The accused who assaulted a Gogaon-based shopkeeper has been arrested. According to the police, Vikas Kumar Sahu, father Hira Lal Sahu, age 42 years, Sakin Gogaon, Gudhiyari Raipur, was in his shop in the name of Shiv Garments near Main Road Railway Underbridge on 29.09.2023 at around 06.15 pm, when Sahil Tandon, resident of Gogaon, Rancho And his associates entered the shop, came to the counter, started beating him, demanding Rs 5000/-, and vandalized the shop while threatening to kill him.
On the report of the applicant, crime no. 433/2023 Section 384,454,294,506,323,427,34 IPC, during investigation, accused Vivek Singh Chauhan, father Shyam Sundar Singh Chauhan, age 26 years. Gogaon, an old settlement near the water tank, was arrested and sent on judicial remand.
