Businessman’s son murdered after kidnapping, tuition teacher turned out to be the murderer, know more details

Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh): Kushagra Kanodia (age 15), son of a big textile businessman from Kanpur, UP, has been murdered. The dead body of Kushagra, a class 10 student, was found in the store room of his tuition teacher’s house. Police have arrested tuition teacher Rachita, her boyfriend Prabhat Shukla and one of his associates Ankit. According to the police, both are being interrogated. The motive for the murder will soon come to light.

Kushagra had gone missing after leaving on his scooter for the coaching center at around 4.30 pm on Monday evening. While the family was searching, someone threw a letter in the house demanding a ransom of Rs 30 lakh. The ransom letter was written in such a way that suspicion would fall on a member of a particular community.

In the letter received by the family members in the name of Al Qaeda, it was mentioned about the kidnapping. After which there was panic in the police department, but while disclosing the matter, the police said that Kushagra was murdered not by kidnapping but as part of a conspiracy by the female teacher, her fiance and one of their associates. Not only this, Kushagra had already been murdered before sending the letter. In this case, the police are arresting female teacher Rachita, fiance Prabhat Shukla and her partner Ankit and interrogating them. Apart from this, the police has also got CCTV footage, in which student Kushagra himself was seen going to the house of Prabhat Shukla and the teacher. The accused had written a letter about kidnapping to mislead the police.

Kushagra went for coaching on his scooter on Monday evening but did not return home. Later, a person came on a scooter with a cloth tied over his face and gave a letter and went away. A ransom of Rs 30 lakh was demanded in the letter. The police also initially thought that the child had been kidnapped for ransom. But after some time, when the investigation of the case started, suspicion started growing on Kushagra’s tuition teacher and her boyfriend. The police interrogated him.

It is being told that initially both of them tried to mislead the police but later they revealed the whole truth. Based on the information received from both, the police recovered the dead body of Kushagra. Police say that Kushagra was murdered at 5.30 pm on Monday evening. The ransom letter was sent only to mislead.

In the CCTV footage, Kushagra was seen going to the teacher’s house of his own free will. After that teacher Rachita and her boyfriend Prabhat were seen going to the store room. After about half an hour, both of them came out of the room while Kushagra remained inside. Police believe that he was murdered during this time. After this, in the CCTV footage, Prabhat is seen taking away Kushagra’s scooter. Then he and his friend throw the ransom letter from Scooty to Kushagra’s house. He had also changed the number of the scooter.
