Businessman’s son murdered, two neighbors arrested

Surajpur. Police have arrested two accused in the case of kidnapping and murder of a businessman’s son in Surajpur. The accused turns out to be none other than the neighbor of the deceased child. The accused had committed this heinous murder for ransom. In fact, on January 29, 11-year-old Rishu Kashyap, son of hotel businessman Ashok Kashyap, resident of Pratappur, went missing, whose missing complaint was lodged by his family members at Pratappur police station. Rishu was a fourth class student.

After the complaint, the police was searching for the child. Even after a month passed, no trace of the child was found. While the investigation was going on, on Sunday, 25th February, the child’s remains were found in the forest of Karsi. Also, the police arrested two accused in the case.

As soon as information about the incident came to Surajpur, angry people created a ruckus on the streets. Pratappur is closed today in protest against the incident. Angry people also vandalized the vehicles of the accused. It is being told that the child was murdered on the same day he was kidnapped. Police have arrested two neighbors on charges of murder. Both the accused have confessed to the murder.
