Cab driver dies in collision between two cars, two including woman injured
UP. Two cars collided near Kalchina village on Delhi-Meerut Expressway in Modinagar, Ghaziabad. The cab driver died in the accident. Whereas, two people traveling in the car were injured. Police sends dead body for post-mortem.
It is said that the accident occurred due to over speed and fog. Mayank Singh, resident of Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, was a cab driver. He was going from Delhi to Dehradun with booking on Tuesday morning. When he reached near Kalchina village on Delhi-Meerut Expressway, a speeding car coming from behind hit the cab while trying to overtake.
The collision was so severe that both the cars were completely damaged. Police reached the spot on information and admitted the cab driver and three people in the car to the local hospital. Where doctors declared cab driver Mayank Singh dead. Apart from this, a woman and the driver in the car were referred when the situation became serious. Police sends dead body for post-mortem.
