Cabinet Minister Mohammad Akbar conducted Bhent Mulaqat with the villagers of Paligudha and Sonpuri

Kawardha. The Minister of Transport, Housing and Environment, Forest, and Law, Mohammad Akbar, said that the Chhattisgarh Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, is laying emphasis on the upliftment and development of all sections of society. Funds are being allocated for the construction of buildings. The government is also allotting land for the organization and advancement of society.
 
He said that the Government of Chhattisgarh has launched schemes for the welfare of the impoverished, farmers, and laborers. Gauthans have been developed to serve cows and provide employment to women’s self-help groups. The purchase of cow dung has led to economic development, bestowing a new identity on Chhattisgarh at the national level. Akbar was addressing the villagers during the Bhent Mulaqat program held in Paligudha and Sonpuri villages in the Kawardha development block yesterday.
 
Cabinet Minister Mohammad Akbar participated in the Bhent Mulaqat and Janchaupal programs organized in Paligudha and Sonpur villages. While holding discussions with the villagers, he interacted directly with the farmers, landless laborers, and women. He also sought suggestions from the villagers on the subject of the development of the village. He received feedback on the flagship schemes of the state government. The Sarpanch of the concerned Village Panchayat and public representatives were also present on the occasion.
 
Cabinet Minister Akbar said that the purpose of his visit to the Village Panchayats is to ensure that the villagers are reaping the benefits of the public welfare schemes of the government. In the event of any problem in the implementation of the schemes, it has to be resolved so that people are not deprived of the schemes’ benefits. During his interaction with the public, Cabinet Minister Akbar provided detailed information about the ambitious schemes of the government. He added that the government is working continuously for the development of the district.

Cabinet Minister Akbar said that earthen lamps, decorative items, manure, and natural paint are being prepared from cow dung. Natural paint is used in school buildings, and women associated with self-help groups are securing employment through livelihood-oriented activities. He talked about the annual provision of Rs. 7 thousand under the Rajiv Gandhi Bhumiheen Gramin Krishi Majdoor Nyay Yojana and the purchase of minor forest produce from forest dwellers at a higher price and quantity. He highlighted the government’s contribution to the promotion of the state’s culture through the Ram Van Gaman Tourism Circuit, Ghotul, and the National Tribal Dance Festival. Sharing information about the healthcare facilities for the free treatment of impoverished people, he said that up to Rs. 20 lakh is provided for the treatment of serious diseases under the Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasthya Sahayata Yojana. Malnourished children are provided with nutritional food under the Mukhyamantri Suposhan Yojana.
