Call to start door-to-door campaign on Aarogyasri from December 1
Vijayawada: YSR Aarogyasri Healthcare Trust CEO Venkateswar has directed health authorities to engage ANMs (Auxiliary Nurse Midwives) in a door-to-door campaign to raise awareness about the Aarogyasri healthcare scheme across the state, beginning December 1.
During a virtual meeting with district medical and health officers and Aarogyasri district coordinators on Saturday, the CEO emphasised the importance of the Aarogya Suraksha-2.0 initiative, which is scheduled to launch on January 1. He conducted a virtual training session for ANMs from all 26 districts in the state.
CEO Venkateswar stressed that ANMs should distribute Aarogyasri scheme brochures during their campaign and thoroughly explain the scheme’s objectives and benefits. He also urged them to encourage people to install the Aarogyasri app on at least one member’s mobile phone in each family and assist them in logging in. This would enable them to easily access the scheme’s benefits and seek medical treatment for various health concerns.
