Candidate resigns from party, joins Congress
Janjgir-Champa. Voting is to be held in Chhattisgarh on Friday, hence all the political parties are going door-to-door and meeting the people. A day before the elections, JCCJ party has been given a big blow by its own candidate. JCCJ’s Sakti Assembly candidate Raj Kumar Patel has resigned from Jogi Congress and joined Congress. Let us tell you that JCCJ had made Raj Kumar Patel the candidate from Sakti Assembly.
But when there was less than a day left for the elections, he resigned and joined the Congress. Sources said that Raj Kumar Patel had sought support from JCCJ state president Amit Jogi to contest the elections but he did not get support, after which he decided to bid goodbye to JCCJ and resigned from the party. At present no statement has been issued by JCCJ on the resignation of Raj Kumar Patel.
