Canteen running without permission in SMC hospital basement sealed

Raipur. Today, as per the orders of Raipur District Collector and Municipal Corporation Administrator Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh and as per the instructions of Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra, under the leadership of Municipal Corporation Zone 3 Zone Commissioner Vivekanand Dubey and in the presence of Assistant Engineer Sushil Ahir of Zone 3 Urban Investment Department, Deputy Engineer Ranjit Barwa, Akshay Bhardwaj and related employees, strict action was taken to seal the canteen and dining area operating without permission in the basement parking area at SMC Hospital under Municipal Corporation Zone No. 3, when the operation of the canteen and dining area operating without permission in the basement parking was not stopped even after giving notice to the concerned hospital operator several times in the past.

Action has been taken to remove the ramp built by SMC Hospital by enclosing the road in front. Due to the construction of the ramp on the road, there was a jam due to continuous road traffic being obstructed. The problem of traffic jam was resolved immediately after the removal of the ramp and the traffic became smooth and well-organized, which gave immediate relief to the citizens.

The Additional Commissioner directed the zone officers to start all the unstarted works soon and complete the development works in progress within the stipulated time limit. The Additional Commissioner directed the engineers to make timely payment to the contractors’ dues. After reviewing the work, the Additional Commissioner inspected the works of the drain under construction in Khamtarai market and the road under construction in Basant Vihar Colony area.
