Car collides with pickup van, 4 killed and 2 injured, VIDEO
Pilibhit (Uttar Pradesh): Four people were killed and two seriously injured in a collision between a car and a pickup van on the Pilibhit-Sitapur highway. The accident took place on Sunday morning and three women were among the dead. The injured have been admitted to hospital.
The passengers belonged to a family and were on their way to Nainital for a holiday. According to reports, the accident took place when the driver of the car, Abdullah, fell asleep. The deceased have been identified as Abdullah, Batul, Maryam and Saima. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the incident and directed officials to provide necessary assistance to the survivors and families.
