Car falls on moving goods train from bridge, 3 killed
Thane: Three people were killed and two were injured when a car fell on a moving goods train from a bridge between Karjat and Panvel railway stations in Maharashtra on Tuesday morning. Police gave this information.

The accident occurred between 3.30 am and 4 am when the car was heading towards Neral on the Mumbai-Panvel road, an official from Panvel police station said.
The deceased were identified as Dharmanand Gaikwad (41) and his cousins Mangesh Jadhav (46) and Nitin Jadhav (48).
The official said Gaikwad was a Republican Party of India (RPI) activist and the local police are investigating further.
Dr Shivraj Manaspure, Chief Public Relations Officer of Central Railway (CR), said, the goods train was going from Panvel towards Karjat in Raigarh district and some of its wagons got separated due to the incident.
He said the Panvel-Karjat section of CR remained closed from 3.43 am to 7.32 am due to the accident.
He said only one train – 17317 Hubli-Dadar Express – was diverted from the Karjat-Kalyan route due to the incident.
