Carcass of a tusker elephant found in a drain, suspected to have been killed by electric shock

Korba. A tusker elephant was killed by electrocution in the district. The body of the elephant was found submerged in the drain. It is being told that the hunters have killed the elephant. The forest department has reached the spot. The matter is of Geetkunwari area under Kudmura range of Korba forest division.

According to the information received, the villagers had gone towards the forest on Saturday morning. During this time they saw the dead elephant. During this time, as soon as the information was received in the village, a crowd of people gathered. The villagers told that someone must have killed the elephant by electrocution, the elephant cannot die in the amount of water in which it was submerged. There is no possibility of it getting stuck in the mud either. In such a situation, it has been killed. Forest department officials have come, they will investigate.
