Cattle dying in Gauthan, CEO gave instructions to take action against the culprits

Balodabazar: More than a dozen cattle died due to lack of fodder and water in Gauthan of Kasdol Gram Panchayat Malda. Video of 10 dead and 2 sick cattle being dumped in Mahanadi went viral. In this case, the CEO of District Panchayat Kasdol has said that action will be taken against the culprits after investigation.

According to sources, more than 12 cattle died simultaneously in Gauthan of Gram Panchayat Malda. Information was received that the said cattle died due to lack of water. It is alleged that to suppress the matter, the Gothan officials loaded 10 dead and two sick cattle in a tractor-trolley and drowned them in the flood of Mahanadi. The incident came to light when the video went viral.

It is being told that the people responsible for Gauthan had a scuffle with the young man who was recording the video. His mobile has also been broken. On Saturday, 10 cattle died simultaneously in Gram Panchayat Malda and two were in sick condition. In this case, according to the information received from the villagers including Bajrang Dal ABVP of Malda, a Gauthan has been built in Malda but due to no arrangement, the cattle are kept near the Secretariat by the Gauthan Committee. Due to no arrangement there too, there were about 10 dead cattle and two sick cattle on Saturday.
