CBI will soon arrest the accused of CGPSC scam, CM Sai’s big statement
Raipur: On CBI registering an FIR on alleged irregularities in CGPSC, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said, during the assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised the people of Chhattisgarh that if BJP government is formed in the state, then the scams that have happened with the youth here in CGPSC will be investigated by the CBI and action will be taken against the culprits. CBI has started its investigation.
Let us tell you that the CBI has taken major action regarding the irregularities and corruption in the 2019 and 2022 recruitment of Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC). Despite the holiday on Sunday, the CBI searched the PSC office located in Nava Raipur and seized documents. Then on Monday, the agency raided the houses of then Chairman Taman Singh Sonwani in Raipur and Bhilai and Secretary. As soon as Sonwani got information about the arrival of CBI, he left his village Sarvada on Monday morning. Since then, there is no trace of them. The CBI team came out of the PSC office at 8 pm on Monday night. From where they have confiscated OMR sheets, computers and other documents. They have also taken digital information of the candidates selected in the exam.
In this case, CG CBI Head Office officer SN Jat has filed a case on July 9 against Sonwani, Secretary Jeevan Kishore Dhruv, Controller of Examinations Aarti Vasnik and many other officers and leaders.
