CG: SP leader arrested, had occupied land worth crores
Bhilai. A case of occupying land worth crores and building a house in Kohka area under Smriti Nagar police station in Bhilai has come to light. Taking action on this, Smriti Nagar police arrested SP leader Mantosh Yadav and then sent him to jail under section 151. Smriti Nagar police station in-charge says that an army man had a plot lying in front of Indu IT School for a long time. He had also got a boundary made in it. After this, a few months ago Samajwadi Party leader Mantosh Yadav came and claimed that the land belonged to his sister-in-law Savitri Yadav. When the land owner opposed this and said that he had the registry of that land from the time of 1980, Mantosh Yadav also came with the registry paper of three months ago.
Not only this, he also started constructing a house on the land. In protest against this, Dogra filed a case in the court of Tehsildar and SDM. From there he got a stay order on that land. Here the SP leader continued to construct the house, disregarding the court order. Smriti Nagar Police Station in-charge says that they told him to stop the construction and about the stay order being issued, but he did not listen. After this, Smriti Nagar police reached Kohka on Monday evening. They arrested Mantosh Yadav, the contractor constructing the house and two masons and took them to the police station. After this, everyone was sent to jail. Police has instructed Mantosh Yadav that he or the land owner should not do any construction there without the court’s order.
