Chain Mountain Machine and 2 Highways seized, Police takes action against illegal sand excavation

Mahasamund. Taking action against illegal sand excavation, the police team has seized 2 highways including a chain mountain. According to the information received, a team of 6 members of Mahasamund police of Sirpur outpost of Tumgaon police station area conducted a raid in Mahanadi located at Khamtarai last night. During this, the police seized one chain mountain and two highways while mining sand illegally.

On the instructions of the Superintendent of Police, late on Monday night, a 6 member team including Bagbahra SDOP Yulandan York and City Kotwali in-charge Monica Shyam conducted a raid in Mahanadi located in Khamtarai. Late night, the police seized a chain mountain and 2 highways while illegally mining sand from Mahanadi. The police team has kept the seized vehicles at Sirpur outpost. Police are interrogating 6 people including a leader in this case
