Challan action of Rs 7 thousand taken against 22 drivers

Balod. On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Dr. Jitendra Kumar Yadav, the 34th National Road Safety Month is being organized in Balod district under the leadership of Traffic Incharge Inspector Rakesh Thakur.

During the Traffic Road Safety Month 2024, traffic awareness program will be organized by visiting Rath Dangrapar and Mela Mandai of Malighori on road safety related rules like not driving without helmet, not driving three passenger vehicle, using seat belt and not driving after consuming alcohol.

Along with this, by distributing pamphlets related to road safety, others have been motivated to follow the road safety rules themselves and also to follow the traffic rules.

During the traffic month, along with awareness program, people are being advised and challan action is also being taken against careless drivers. During the process, action was taken against 21 careless drivers and a fine of Rs 7400 was taken. Has been recovered.
