Chandigarh: Dependents of 5 deceased farmers got jobs

Chandigarh: MLA Kulwant Singh on Thursday handed over appointment letters of Beldar to five dependents of the deceased farmers who lost their lives during the protest against the three agricultural bills. A total of 660 dependents of the deceased farmers have been accommodated in government jobs on compassionate grounds. Of these, 453 have been given jobs in the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department of Punjab.
