Chandigarh: Elderly man dies in hit-and-run

Chandigarh: An elderly man died in a hit and run accident near PGI Chowk on Sunday. Devinder Chawla of Sector 70 alleged that a vehicle hit his parents riding a scooter near the Chowk. Both were admitted to PGI, where doctors declared his father dead. A case has been registered at Sector 11 police station under sections 279, 337 and 304-A of IPC.
