Tamil Nadu: DMDK General Secretary Premalatha Vijayakanth launched her Assembly election campaign on Wednesday wearing a silver veil after visiting Lord Muruga in Thiruttani.

The DMDK, part of the DMK alliance, launched its election campaign on Wednesday evening after visiting Lord Muruga and wearing a silver veil. Premalatha Vijayakanth launched the election campaign at a meeting of DMK, allies, and women gathered in front of the Tiruttani Kamala Cinema. She said, “I have launched my campaign for the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections at the Tiruttani Murugan Temple on the occasion of Panguni Uttara. With Murugan’s blessings, DMDK candidate Krishnamurthy will definitely win the Tiruttani seat.”

The DMDK is contesting the elections in alliance with the DMK with the aim of improving things for the people of Tamil Nadu. The DMK alliance will set a record by winning over 200 seats in the elections. In the DMK’s election promises, women can receive coupons worth ₹8,000 for refrigerators, washing machines, and other essential items, and they can enjoy the purchases.

People have demanded that the number of paddy procurement centers in Tiruttani be increased. If the government is formed, the number of paddy procurement centers will definitely be increased. Housewives are already receiving ₹1,000. In the coming months, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has announced election promises that this amount will be increased to ₹2,000. A ₹2,000 subsidy for the elderly and ₹2,500 for the disabled will be provided, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin stated in his election manifesto.

Furthermore, subsidized loans up to ₹5 lakh will be provided through self-help groups. This will improve the quality of your life. Premalatha Vijayakanth stated that this government will create 200,000 new jobs for students and youth, and urged everyone to vote for DMDK candidate T. Krishnamurthy for the Tiruttani Legislative Assembly by a large margin.
