CHANDIGARH NEWS: Two snatchers in police custody

Chandigarh. Chandigarh: The UT police have arrested two snatchers. Prince, a resident of Sector 52, had reported that on May 29, when he was returning home on a bicycle, two scooter-borne miscreants snatched his mobile phone in Sector 50.

When a motorcyclist chased the snatchers, they abandoned their scooter and fled into the forest, police said. During investigation, the two suspects were identified as Vijay Kumar alias Bittu, a resident of Bihar, and Arun alias Kancha, a resident of Maloya. Police recovered Prince’s phone from them.
