Chandrababu inspected the Polavaram left canal
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu promised to repay the debt of the people with the power given by God. He inspected the Polavaram left canal at Darlapudi in Anakapalle district and while addressing the people there, said that the district will develop once the Uttarakhand Sujala Dhara is completed. Naidu criticised the previous government for mismanaging the Polavaram project and said that it was stalled during their reign. He assured the completion of the project, which will irrigate one lakh acres of land and cost Rs 800 crore. Naidu also announced plans to invite tenders and complete the project as soon as possible, which will bring 2500 cusecs of water to Anakapalle district through the Purushottampattinam Lift Scheme. The CM stressed the importance of bringing Godavari water to Anakapalle district for irrigation. He expressed his commitment to sustain the state and ensure its development despite the financial challenges faced by the previous government.
