New Delhi. ISRO has launched Chandrayaan-3 on Friday afternoon at 2.35 pm. Chandrayaan-3 has set out on its journey to leave India’s mark on the surface of the moon, if India is successful in this mission then it will be the fourth country in the world to do this feat. ISRO has launched Chandrayaan-3 through LMV-3 rocket and has taken a big step in the world of space.

Vikram’s legs of Chandrayaan-3 have been made very strong. He will be able to land at a higher velocity than before. Apart from this, many improvements have also been made in the lander. ISRO Chief Somnath has told that the landing velocity has been increased from 2 m/s to 3 m/s. This means that even at a speed of 3 m/s, the lander will not crash or break its lags. Apart from this, work has also been done on its engine and software. The central or fifth engine has been removed, which was added at the last moment during Chandrayaan 2.
