‘Change in Patan’ is certain: Amit Jogi

Durg: Amit Jogi submitted nomination from Patan today. After which he talked to the journalists and said that I have filed my nomination from Patan today. This election is not against ‘Bhupesh’ but ‘corruption’. This is an election of a powerful Dao ‘family’ versus the ‘rights’ of the poor, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Most Backward Classes of Patan. I am just a face, the candidates are Patan residents, the candidates are victims of PSC scam, housing victims, breach of promise victims, regularization victims, liquor ban victims.

I am representing all these victims against corruption. I had the option of winning from the ‘safe’ seat in three assemblies, I could have contested from two seats also but I have decided to contest from Patan alone on the request of the people of Patan. I have held three big meetings in Patan assembly constituency in the last one month. After my arrival, elections will be held for the first time in Patan, till now the uncle-nephew arrangement of the same family has been taking place, elections will be held now. ‘Change in dumping’ is certain. The people of Patan will win.
