Cheated friend by offering him profit, vicious friend absconding

Bhilai: Prateek Chopra, resident of house number 434 of New Khursipar, has an auto center shop in Risali. In January 2018, he had gone to Hotel Floret Supela to have dinner. During this time, he met Animesh Singh, a resident of New Khursipar. Animesh Singh was a student of KPS Nehru Nagar, and was an old friend of Prateek. There was a lot of conversation between the two. Animesh Singh told Prateek that he is the operator of Floret Hotel. He also does the work of buying and selling land and paddy. Animesh started luring Prateek by saying that there would be more profit in the land. After this meeting, Animesh made a big plan of fraud.

Animesh offered Prateek to earn two percent profit. Seeing the grandeur of Animesh, Prateek also fell into his trap and gave him Rs 2 crore 35 lakh. Even after many days of giving the money, Prateek neither got any profit nor did he get back the money given by him. After not getting the money even after asking several times, the victim complained about it at Khursipar police station. Khursipar TI Umendra Tandon said that on the complaint of the victim, a complaint has been registered against the accused Animesh Singh. The accused is absconding. Search for him is going on. There is a complaint against Animesh Singh that he cheated many other people including Hitesh Chaubey, Ritesh Chaubey, Santosh Gupta of Raipur.
